Snag N Reel is a lake fishing sports adventure about a man named Mr. Milton Gumbo, and his quest to capture the legendary bass named "Billy Jack". As they join Mr. Gumbo on his fishing trip, players can pick up tasks, participate in contests, and enter tournaments. Much like many adventure style games, players increase their skills as they use different styles of fishing lures, baits, and fishing techniques.

Help Mr. Milton Gumbo travel to Indian lake and catch the mysterious, monster bass known as "Billy Jack". To enter the contest you must first prove yourself at your local fishing hole, by catching 5 citation fish and building the skills needed to compete with the "Big Dogs". With 8 different species of fish including bass, catfish, walleye, crappie, dozens of lures and bait, customizable poles, marinas, lodges, weather, time and fuel management, tournaments, and tasks.
